"Richard Woods was senior vice president of Corporate Affairs at Capital One, where he was responsible for corporate communications, philanthropy, and reputation risk management programs. He was also responsible for community development group outreach, Community Reinvestment Act compliance, and the company’s line of business dedicated to community development lending and investment. Before joining Capital One in 2000, Woods served as senior vice president of Corporate Communications at Revlon, Inc. Prior to Revlon, Woods served as vice president of Corporate Communications at Eli Lilly and Company and as senior vice president, director of communications for MasterCard International. Woods serves as vice chairman of the board of Junior Achievement USA and is a trustee of the Arthur W. Page Society, a professional development organization. Woods earned a bachelor’s degree from Pomona College, a bachelor of science from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business, with a concentration in finance."[1]
