Rick Farley "was former Executive Director of the National Farmers' Federation and a lifelong advocate for farmers and indigenous Australians. His partner, Linda Burney, is an educator and the first Aboriginal Member of Parliament in NSW." Rick Farley died aged 53 on May 13, 2006.[1]
