"Mr. Robert Addison Day is the Founder and Investment Advisor at The Cypress Funds LLC. He founded the firm in 1998. Mr. Day serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Oakmont Corporation. He serves as a Portfolio manager at White, Weld & Co. in New York since 1965. Mr. Day founded Trust Company of West in 1971. He serves as a Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chairman of the Board for TCW Asset ManagementCo. Mr. Day serves as Chairman of TCW Asset Management Company and TCW Advisors Inc. He was Chief Executive Officer and Founder of TCW Capital Investment Corporation. Mr. Day served as Chairman of TCW Capital Investment Corporation. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of The TCW Group, Inc. until October October 1, 2005. Mr. Day has been a Director of McMoran Exploration Co. since 1994. He has been a Director of Freeport McMoran Copper & Gold Inc. since 1995. Mr. Day serves as a Director of The TCW Group, Inc. He served as a Director of Synta Pharmaceuticals Corp. Mr. Day served as a Director of Societe Generale Group, from 2002 to December 31, 2009. He served as Independent Director of Syntroleum Corp., from March 2000 to September 22, 2006. Mr. Day served as a Director of McMoran Oil & Gas Co. since 1994 and Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. since 1995. He served as a Director of Freeport McMoRan Inc. since 1984. Mr. Day served as a Director of Fisher Scientific International Inc. until 2003.He serves as a Trustee of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and Honorary Trustee of The Brookings Institution. He serves as the President of W.M. Keck Foundation, Endowment Fund. Mr. Day serves as Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of W. M. Keck Foundation. He attended Robert Louis Stevenson School until 1961. Mr. Day holds a B.S. degree in Economics from Claremont McKenna College in 1965."[1]
