"Robert joined Compass Partners in 2006, as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman/CEO of DBM. He was responsible for the turnaround at DBM, increasing EBITDA from a low point of $11 million in 2006 to $84 million for 2009. Robert has successfully driven a large number of turnarounds, acquisitions and divestitures.

"Robert was CEO of Chubb plc between 2000 and 2003. Chubb plc was the third largest Security Services Company in the world, with operations in five continents, sales in excess of $2.5 billion. Chubb plc was ranked 140th on the London FTSE listing prior to being acquired by United Technologies in 2003.

"Between 1988 and 2000, Robert worked for Williams Holdings plc, a FTSE 100 conglomerate with interests in consumer, building and security products. Robert progressed rapidly through the ranks from Managing Director of the European Consumer and Building products’ Division, ultimately to Managing Director of the Global Systems and Services’ Division, he became a Main Board Director of Williams plc in 1999. Between 1977 and 1988, Robert worked with Fort Howard Paper Company, a US paper and packaging company (1985 to 1988), with the Addison Group, a UK strategic consulting firm (1983 to 1985), with Booz Allen & Hamilton (1979 to 1983), and with Colgate Palmolive (1977 to 1979)."[1]
