Robert N. Wright

Robert N. Wright (also known as Bob Wright) was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He got his Master's Degree from Northern Illinois University in 1967. He is since 1977 an economics teacher at Vanguard High School in Ocala (FL) and he formed together with Ira J. Paul in 1999 the organization Teachers for Better Education (TBE).

At the end of an article published by the Ocala Star-Banner on March 19, 2000, you could read about Mr. Wright:

"He is working with the Alexis de Tocqueville Institution on its Teacher Choice program. The Alexis de Tocqueville Institution is a public policy research organization that has championed school choice nationwide." [1]

Around that time also Mr. Paul was involved in the Alexis de Tocqueville Institution (AdTI) as can be seen at the end of an article Ira J. Paul wrote for EducationNews.org on September 20, 2001:

"[Ira J. Paul is] a fellow with the Alexis de Tocqueville Institution in Arlington, Va" [2]

George A. Clowes wrote in the article 'Florida Educators Still Criticize A+ Plan' published on September 1, 2000 in School Reform News about Mr. Wright:

"Robert Wright is a teacher at Vanguard High School in Ocala and co-founder of the pro-voucher group, Teachers for a Better Education." [3]
