Biographical Information

Roger joined the Board of Gordonstoun in 2003 and has responsibility for international matters.

"Roger read Modern History at Oxford University and went on to teach in America and at St Paul’s Prep School. Twenty-nine years as a Prep School Headmaster took him to King’s, Taunton, Clifton and the Dragon School, Oxford. He was Chairman of IAPS and of ISIS and, for four years, Deputy Chairman of ISC. Since he retired he has worked for the Cognita group of schools as an educational consultant. He is a headhunter and governs a primary school, two prep schools and four senior schools. Roger is also a Trustee of the North Foreland Lodge Trust which is set up to grant bursaries to girls aged 11-18 in full-time education." [1]
