Biographical Information

"Ronald L. Rossetti has over 20 years of retailing experience as CEO and major stockholder of Nature Food Centers, a 210 store specialty chain which he built from a small direct mail company into the second largest chain of nutritional supplements in the U.S. In 1993, its last full year as an independent company, NFC was ranked as one of the top 100 growth companies by both the Boston Globe and the Boston Business Journal and one of the top 25 Growth Specialty Retailers by "Chain Store Age."

"NFC was sold in September 1994 through a tender offer to its major competitor for more than double its March 1992 offering price.

"Early in his career he was involved as a consultant in crisis management and before that was a Certified Public Accountant associated with the firm of Coopers & Lybrand. He is currently President of Riverside Capital Partners, Inc. where he is involved in venture investing and consulting to emerging growth companies. He is a Director of General Nutrition Centers, Director of City Sports, Director of Tier Technologies, a Director of The Hamilton Advisory Board, a Trustee of Northeastern University and in the part has served on the board of other public and private organizations.
