Dr Sara Davies "is a ARC Postdoctoral Fellow at the Griffith Asia Institute and Centre for Governance and Public Policy, Griffith University; and the Research Director of the APR2P Centre. Dr Davies' responsibilities entail being co-Editor in Chief of the journal Global Responsibility to Protect; establishing and managing the Centre’s research program; and developing major research initiatives for the Centre.

"Sara is author of Legitimising Rejection: International Refugee Law in Southeast Asia (Martinus Nijhoff, 2007) and has published a number of articles concerning international refugee law and refugee policy in Southeast Asia. Sara's ARC research project examines international cooperation through the World Health Organization (WHO) as a primary defence mechanism for protecting countries from the spread of infectious disease. Sara has a book titled Global Health Issues (Polity Press), forthcoming 2009 and has published an article on infectious disease surveillance in International Affairs (2008)." [1]
