He is frequently called upon to provide a broad array of strategic counsel and to help address the sensitive communications involved in dealing with high-impact issues such as corporate crises, financial challenges and major corporate change events. These activities have included CEO succession planning and positioning for companies such as KeyCorp and PolyOne; proxy fights involving Dairy Mart and First Union Real Estate; legal and regulatory issues facing Lincoln Electric, Diebold and Ferro; and major acquisitions affecting American Greetings, Geon, M.A. Hanna Company, National City Corporation and Diebold.
