Biographical Information

"Tom became Chief Executive of Marie Curie Cancer Care in 2000 after 22 years in the international investment banking sector. Tom is a member of The King's Fund General Advisory Council, Chairman of the End of Life Care Implementation Advisory Board, and a Trustee of Esmee Fairbairn Foundation. He has also recently chaired the Palliative Care Funding Review for adults and children in England and The Philanthropy Review, a fresh look at reshaping philanthropy to encourage more people to give. He has formerly been Chairman of English Churches Housing Group and of the Michael Palin Centre for Stammering Children, a Director of the National Council for Palliative Care and a Special Trustee of Great Ormond Street Hospital."[1]
