Biographical Information

"Sophie is a marketing practitioner with a specialism in African brand-building and communications. Prior to joining Jacana, she spent five years at leading international communications agency Weber Shandwick where her clients included the Investment Climate Facility for Africa, a public-private partnership based in Tanzania working to improve Africa’s investment climate, and leading African telecoms operator Celtel, which she helped rebrand to Zain in 2008. She spent two years managing a communications programme for ExxonMobil across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and has worked for other leading brands including MasterCard, Oxfam and Samsung." [1]
