"Steve Kendall is currently Chair of Trustees of Dementia café Market Harborough. Formed three years ago, the café exists as a small charity to combat the isolation and lack of information available to those with newly diagnosed Dementia and their families...Having retired in October 2010 following a number of years at senior levels in Local Authorities, he is happiest in a campaigning role, and is committed to the concept of collaboration between local voluntary and community sector organisations in both service delivery and funding. It is in this area that Steve wants to make an impact within VAL. He firmly believes that the success of the sector in future years will be achieved by a 'smaller' but more cohesive group of organisations..."
