Steven M. Colloton is a Federal Judge for the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He was nominated by George W. Bush on February 12, 2003, confirmed by the Senate September 4, 2003 and received commission on September 10, 2003. This seat on the Federal Bench was open for a Bush appointee because the Republican led Senate during the Clinton presidency refused to act on his nominee for the vacancy, Bonnie Campbell, eventhough she had the support of both her home state senators, including Republican Charles Grassley. Colloton was born 1963 in Iowa City, Iowa.
