Re the deletion of the reference to Rubin assisting Perle/Wurmser. This was based on the Guradian ref "Michael Rubin, a specialist on Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan, who recently arrived from yet another thinktank, the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, assists Mr Perle and Mr Wurmser at AEI. Mr Rubin also belongs to the Middle East Forum." [1] It is not clear what the basis of the deletion of the statement that he assisted Perle etc is. Will post note to contributor's page. --Bob Burton 15:52, 26 Jul 2005 (EDT)

A possible answer is the impossibility of overlapping the dates at which Wurmser and Rubin were at AEI. See the info incorporated into the main Michael Rubin article and the talk page on David Wurmser. Artificial Intelligence 16:06, 26 Jul 2005 (EDT)

Addendum: As for Rubin's not assisting Perle, well, have not addressed that one, Bob.

User 38.118.73.78 insisted, incorrectly I might add, that Rubin was only at AEI for 5 weeks in 2002, when documentation clearly shows that he was either a visiting or resident scholar there from sometime in July at least through the end of December. Following his last stint in Iraq, he returned to AEI sometime around April 2004. Artificial Intelligence 16:50, 26 Jul 2005 (EDT)

Blocked User 38.118.73.78 for continuing to change timeframe for Rubin's affiliation with AEI. Documents have been provided in External Links to support fact that Rubin was first a visiting, then resident, scholar at AEI at least from July through December 2002.
