The following has been relocated here as it is a totally unsourced article.

National Grassroots & Communications (NGC) describes itself as "an innovative public relations and marketing firm. NGC builds consumer movements in states and across the nation to help companies expand markets, influence trends, and shape government policy." It is associated with the production of astroturf campaigns for business.

Among its former projects have been the campaigns 'Business for affordable medicine' and 'Business Alliance for Reliable Energy'; crisis management planning for the U.S. Sugar Association and 'coordinating campaigns for the sugar industry to address public health concerns related to sugar'; 'the Wireless Access Coalition'.

Both the Business for affordable medicine and Business Alliance for Reliable Energy campaigns claim to have influenced government policy.

NGC asserts that it 'provides companies with critical grassroots support to influence public perception, shape media opinion, and change state and federal laws. The result is to transform critical corporate issues from “special-interests” to compelling public interests.'
