There are a few inaccuracies posted on the Tenaska Energy SourceWatch site.

1) Tenaska Energy, Inc. is not a subsidiary of American International Group.

I would suggest replacing that information with:

Tenaska is one of the largest independent power producers in the United States. The company has developed approximately 9,000 MW of electric generating capacity across the United States. Tenaska affiliates currently operate and manage eight power plants totaling approximately 6,800 MW that it owns in partnership with other companies. Tenaska is headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, with offices in Dallas, Texas; Denver, Colorado; and Calgary, Alberta Canada. Tenaska affiliates also market natural gas, electric power and biofuels, with Tenaska’s natural gas marketing affiliate rated as one of the top ten natural gas marketers in North America. Tenaska affiliates are also involved in private equity fund and acquisition management, fuel supply, gas transportation systems and electric transmission development.

2)The company was not founded in 1999, but in 1987.

3) Tenaska did not own any coal-fueled power plants in 2007. The Taylorville Energy Center and Trailblazer Energy Center projects would be the company's first coal-fueled plants. Both facilities would include environmentally advanced technology, including the ability to capture carbon dioxide.

If you are interested in web sites for the Taylorville and Trailblazer facilities, they can be found at www.cleancoalillinois.com[1] and www.tenaskatrailblazer.com[2], respectively.

4) In the sidebar on the right, there is no parent company.

I notice you have another site about only "Tenaska," which is accurate.

Thank you.
