Teresa Crawford, Director of the Advocacy and Leadership Center – Institute for Sustainable Communities.

"Since 1998 Teresa has worked in over 30 countries with civil society activists on issues ranging from violence against women in war to preserving the Amazon rainforest to Roma rights in Central and Eastern Europe. In 1999, along with Akan and Paul, Teresa helped to found IPKO. Her roles included managing the construction of the first offices at the Boro Ramizi Center to setting up the first free connections program which provided high speed Internet access to civil society and educational institutions in Prishtina. For the last 10 years Teresa has worked in the nonprofit field as a staff person, trainer, facilitator, consultant, evaluator and designer of new programs. She has remained committed to the vision of a prosperous and secure Kosovo and travels regularly to the region. Since 2008 she has worked to develop the new programs of IPKO Foundation." [1]
