The Future of Food is a 2004 documentary by filmmaker and environmentalist Deborah Koons Garcia highlighting the dangers of genetically modified organisms grown for mass consumption: corn, soy and alfalfa, among other food crops. These products are unlabeled and sold to consumers, The Future of Food reveals. Farmers who were sued by seed and monoculture crop giant Monsanto for using Monsanto seed--unknowingly, because the GMO seeds blew into their fields--are interviewed in the film.

"THE FUTURE OF FOOD offers an in-depth investigation into the disturbing truth behind the unlabeled, patented, genetically engineered foods that have quietly filled grocery store shelves for the past decade," reads the DVD copy.
