Thomas H. Murray, Ph.D. was a Bioethicist at Case Western Reserve University, and has served as an Anti-Tobacco Expert for the Plaintiff in cases against the industry.

Biography

Dr. Murray holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology. His area of expertise includes the impact of industry-sponsored research, whether internal to the company or externally funded, on the development of health policy. He can also provide expert knowledge on the ethical issues raised by an industry which does not meet full and candid disclosure to government officials in their capacity as policy makers.

Thomas H. Murray is familiar with the ethics of science, the relation of science to public policy and health policy, and is familiar with the number of issues related to the ethics of science. He is not an expert in tobacco. He was a Plaintiff's expert In RE: Mike Moore, Attorney General, Ex Rel, State of Mississippi Tobacco Litigation.
