"Training, Regeneration, Education, Employment, Sustainability Services Limited (TREES) is one of the largest social enterprise groups based in the Midlands... TREES helped to launch Newlife Regeneration Construction in 1999. In 2002, the success of this company enabled the group to focus on developing Highpoint – a conference venue on the outskirts of Leicester city centre. TREES Services has progressively expanded its output over the past ten years and now delivers projects both nationally and internationally. TREES also provides interim management solutions, primarily, to the housing association and social enterprise sectors and supports or is an integral part of a number of social enterprises.

"TREES continues to promote and develop social enterprise on both a national and international stage with the delivery of the SPARK programme, a joint venture with the Big Issue Invest and other partners, the establishment of linkages with Social Traders Australia leading to the launch of “The Crunch” (a programme modelled on Spark) and recognition from a number of local and National agencies as an innovative solution provider.

"In 2010 TREES, in partnership with Action Homeless and HMP YOI Glen Parva, set up Action Trust which provides training and employment opportunities to ex-offenders, homeless people and armed forces veterans. This has expanded from the initial cleaning business to include painting and decorating and catering.

"House 2 Homes (H2H) is an innovative project that is currently renovating seven empty properties in Pleasley, Mansfield using a work force made up of armed forces veterans. The refurbished properties will be let out to ex-service families."[1]
