Trefor Williams

Trefor Williams "is currently Director of Democratisation with the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Formerly an officer in the British Army, he has spent the majority of his career overseas, having served in Hong Kong; Germany; Cambodia as a member of the United Nations, and Bosnia as a member of IFOR. He is a graduate of the Army Staff College. He left the Army in 1997 and joined a British NGO, the European Children's Trust, becoming Head of Programmes. He was then appointed Chief Executive of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy. Immediately prior to joining OSCE, he was Mission Director for the NGO Mercy Corps in the North Caucasus, implementing relief and development programs in Ingushetia and Chechnya." [1]
