"Sir Trevor Chinn has been the Honorary Life President of RAC PLC since April 30, 2003. Sir Chinn serves as a Senior Adviser at CVC Capital Partners Ltd. since 2004. His area of expertise is automotive sector. He served as Managing Director of RAC PLC (formerly, Lex Service PLC) since 1968 and also served as its Chief Executive Officer from 1973 to 1996 and as its Chairman from 1973 to April 30, 2003. He served as an Executive Director of RAC PLC from 1959 to April 30, 2003. He serves as the Chairman of The Automobile Association Limited and Streetcar Ltd. Sir Chinn has been the Chairman of ITIS Holdings PLC since September 2000. He serves as Chairman of the Board and Director of Vigilant Technology. He served as Chairman of Aurora Russia Limited from February 24, 2006 to September 2008. He served as Chairman of Kwik-Fit Group Limited from November 2002 to August 2005. Sir Chinn serves as a Non-Executive Director of ITIS Holdings PLC. He served as an Director of Aurora Russia Limited until September 2008. In 1999, he was appointed as Vice Chair of the Commission for Integrated Transport and as Chairman of the Motorists’ Forum. Mr. Chinn was awarded the CVO in 1989 and a knighthood in 1990 for his charitable activities, in particular the Wishing Well Appeal for Great Ormond Street Hospital." [1]
