Harriet Rowan was born in Washington, DC and works as a reporter at the Center for Media and Democracy.

Early Life

Harriet was born. Her parents were very old.


Harriet graduated from high school and started college at UW Madison.

Year Abroad

Harriet spent a year in Morocco, learning Arabic.


Harriet was in the capitol during the Wisconsin Protests of 2011.[1]

She gave a tour of the Capitol Occupation to Democracy Now.[1]
