Hello Marionthorpe, Thanks for your edits to Marion Thorpe’s page. The Congresspedia staff will likely be doing a major project on the 2008 elections but we're still working out a few legal issues before we can promote it or do any significant work. In the meantime, please continue to make additions to any of the challenger or member of Congress profiles. Tens of thousands of visitors read those profiles and the pages often do very well on Google search results, so your additions will get plenty of readers.

Please keep in mind that we generally require an external source be included with new information added to the site. This is done most simply by adding a URL with brackets before and after it at the end of the sentence or paragraph you add (Example: [http://congresspedia.org/]. Sources are not required for non-controversial biographical details, but it's a good idea to supply them (like, for example, links to the candidate's official bio). Also, if you have a picture that isn't copyrighted you can upload one for any of the profiles that are missing pictures. Instructions are here.

Also, FYI, in part because of our stricter sourcing requirements, we differ from Wikipedia in that it is perfectly acceptable for someone to edit a page on themselves or an organization/candidate they are affiliated with. In fact, we're actually looking for contacts with the candidates' campaigns. Are you affiliated with this candidate? If so, please send Congresspedia Managing Editor Conor Kenny an email at Conoremail.png so we can contact you when we really start this project.

If you have any questions at all, feel free to contact me via my user page or email me at efullmer AT sunlightfoundation.com. I am actually leaving my position at the end of this week (Aug. 10), but if you have questions after that, please contact Congresspedia’s managing editor, Conor Kenny, at Conoremail.png.

Thanks!
