Why are you deleting content from SourceWatch? ≡ SCRIBE ≡ 05:37, 22 January 2020 (UTC)

Sorry about the confusion. Someone will be in touch shortly to explain. --WikiWorks (talk) 15:33, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
We had created a large number of pages on gas-fired power plants, based on a particular commercial database. But then we decided to take a different strategy and to instead use government data for these power plants. Rather than change each wiki page individually, we decided to delete all of the earlier wiki pages. We would have created replacement pages on SourceWatch for each power plant, but we were also in the midst of creating GEM Wiki, a spin-off that is co-sponsored by the Center for Media and Democracy, so we decided that we would create the new pages there instead. Hope that helps explain things, and we won't be deleting more pages from SourceWatch, because all of our activity regarding power plants and other fossil-fuel infrastructure will now be at gem.wiki. --MasonInman (talk) 01:32, 31 January 2020 (UTC)
Thanks. Explanatory emails to all admins would have been appreciated. ≡ SCRIBE ≡ 01:06, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
