Biographical Information
"Varda Shine is the Managing Director of the Diamond Trading Company, the Sales and Marketing arm of the De Beers Group.
"She started her career with the De Beers Group in 1983, joining Diamdel Israel as a clerical assistant in the months before she intended to take up a place at medical school. Diamdel offered her a permanent role to stay with the company as a sales executive.
"She stayed with Diamdel Israel for fourteen years. In 1997 she moved to London to join the Rough Diamond Division of the DTC. In 1999 she was a Diamond Manager responsible for the production of +2 to 10 carat before taking up her current position."[1]
