"Dr. Vinay Bharat Ram, whole time Director hails from the family of pioneering industrialist Lala Sri Ram, educated at the universities of Delhi, Michigan (Ann Arbor) and Harvard, holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the university of Delhi. Taught at IIM-Ahmedabad, IIT-Delhi and FMS, University of Delhi.

"Has authored numerous papers in Indian and foreign journals. His books titled ’Import Substitution, Exchange Rates & Economic Development’ and ’The Theory of The Global Firm’ have been published by Oxford University Press. Professor Amartya Sen, Noble laureate in Economics has called the latter ’an imaginative book with a bearing on pure theory as well as real world’.

"Dr. Vinay Bharat Ram is a Vice President of Governing Council of Shri Ram Centre for Industrial Relations & Human Resources and Shri Ram Centre For Performing Arts. He has been working as a Past President of The Harvard Club of Delhi and Manufacturers’ Association of Information Technology. Ex-member of International Council of the Asia Society, New York, U.S.A. He has been the Past President of Northern India Textile Mills Association.

"Dr. Vinay Bharat Ram has been honoured with the National Citizen’s Award for Entrepreneurship in 1990 from the Prime Minister of India also received National Excellence Award for Art & Culture for 1996-97 from T. P. Jhunjhunwala Foundation." [1]
