William G. Golden, Jr.

William G. Golden, Jr. was a communicator and the first rice production specialist at the International Rice Research Institute from 1964 to 74.[1] Prior to work at IRRI, Golden was a rice specialist in the agricultural extension service at University of California-Davis. He had a sabbatical in 1964 and he wrote to IRRI to ask to spend one year there, but did not return after one year.[2]
