William L. Armstrong

William L. Armstrong is a member of the Council for National Policy Board of Directors and served on its Board of Governors in 1982. Armstrong served as a United States Senator (R-CO) and as "Chairman of the Subcommittee on Economic Policy, Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs. In 1981, he was the author of the Tax Indexing provisions of the (Ronald Reagan)/Reagan Administration's much publicized 'tax cut'. Senator Armstrong is also a Board member of the Free Congress Research and Education Foundation, headed by Paul M. Weyrich, and funded in part by the Adolph Coors Foundation, the Smith Richardson Foundation (Vicks Vaporub) and the (Scaife Foundations)/Richard Mellon-Scaife Foundation's millions." Armstrong is a member of the Board of Directors of the Free Congress Foundation.
