William W. Monning, JD "is the founder of Global Majority. He is an attorney and professor of International Negotiation and Conflict Resolution at the Monterey Institute of International Studies and Director of the Mandell-Gisnet Center for Conflict Management at the Monterey College of Law. He has served as the executive director of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War and the Salvadoran Medical Relief Fund. He works as a training consultant with the Institute for International Mediation and Conflict Resolution and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. He has served as a negotiator and mediator on political prisoner cases in Central America and on arms control and peace negotiations in the Middle East, Latin America, the former Soviet republics, Asia, and northern Africa. Monning was a Fulbright Scholar at the Universidad de Lima, Peru in 2004 and was recently appointed as a Senior Fulbright Scholar (2005)." [1]
