Currently the President & CEO of Diamond Foods, Brian Driscoll is best known for tripling his pay as CEO of Hostess just before it declared bankruptcy[1] in 2012.

Career

Diamond Foods provided the following description of Driscoll's education and experience as of November 2012:

Brian J. Driscoll is President and CEO of Diamond Foods and is a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Mr. Driscoll began his career in 1980 in the consumer packaged goods industry in sales with Procter & Gamble. In 1985 he joined Nestle Foods where he was later promoted to Vice President and General Manager of the U.S. Roast and Coffee Division. Mr. Driscoll joined Nabisco in 1995 as President of Sales and Integrated Logistics and was later appointed to lead the Biscuit Direct Store Delivery Sales and Customer Service organization. He joined Kraft with its acquisition of Nabisco as Executive Vice President for Field Sales and Integrated Logistics and later held the position of President of Sales, Customer Service. In June 2010, he was recruited to lead Hostess Brands where he served as Chief Executive Officer until March of this year. Mr. Driscoll is a graduate of St. John's University and he has completed Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management’s CEO Perspective Program.
