The Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation (B&W) was based in Louisville, Kentucky and was a subsidiary of British American Tobacco. It was the third-largest manufacturer and marketer of cigarettes in the United States prior to the merger of its U.S. operations with R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company (RJR) in July 2004.
