Dr. David L. Briggs is the Director of the MIT Lincoln Laboratory. "The laboratory carries out a broad research and development program which supports national security. Lincoln has significant involvement in radar, optical and biological sensing devices and in the areas of computing and communications. Dr. Briggs has an extensive background in air defense, stealth and various electronic counter-measures."[1]
