Jim O'Brien is a Professor of Meteorology and Oceanography at Florida State University. He is also the founder of the Center for Ocean-Atmospheric Prediction Studies. [1] He will speak at the International Conference on Climate Change (2009) in New York City from March 8-10.

Climate Change Skeptic

O'Brien has written articles for two conservative think tanks, the Marshall Institute and the Fraser Institute, denying scientific consensus on global warming. He is also a frequent contributor to Tech Central Station, an online free market journal, funded in part "by oil companies opposed to mandatory carbon limits." [2]
