Joel Rayburn

Joel Rayburn is a U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel with 18 years of experience in intelligence and political-military affairs. LTC Rayburn deployed to Kabul in summer 2010 to help stand up ISAF’s new anti-corruption task force under the command of Brigadier General H.R. McMaster. He recently returned from Afghanistan, where he advised General David Petraeus. He is currently a fellow at National Defense University, Washington DC, where he studies political-military affairs in the Middle East and South Asia.[1]
