Biography

"Larry Ellman is Senior Partner and EVP at Berkshire Realty Ventures with responsibility for executing and directing BRV's investment activities and managing the BRV organization.

"Prior to joining Berkshire, Larry was Managing Director and the Head of the Citi Property Investors North American opportunity fund. At Citi he was responsible for overseeing investment and fund management activities for Citi's $600 million North America fund. Prior to joining CPI, Mr. Ellman was Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Real Estate, where he served as the Head of Acquisitions and managed a division responsible for investing more than $7.0 billion in acquisitions. Mr. Ellman has over 24 years of real estate investment experience. Over the course of his career he has closed more than $4.0 billion in real estate investments across North American markets and all property types, including entity level investments in private and public operating companies. Before joining J.P. Morgan, Mr. Ellman held positions with the J.W. O'Connor Group in New York and Jones Lang Wootton in Los Angeles.

"Mr. Ellman holds an MS in Real Estate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS from the University of Southern California. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute." [1]
