Matthew Elliot

Matthew Elliott is chief executive of the Tax Payers Alliance and " a political consultant in London and Brussels." [1]

As a student at the London School of Economics, 1997-2000, he was leader of the Hayek Society. Between 1998 and 2001, he worked as a researcher for the European Foundation, where he wrote critically on Economic and Monetary Union, tax harmonisation and the Nice Treaty. [2] [3]

Until he started at the Tax Payers Alliance, he was Special Adviser to Conservative MEP Timothy Kirkhope and for Conservative MP Bill Cash.

Elliott is a regular contributor to Tech Central Station. [4]
