Robert Whetton

Biographical Information

Bob Whetton joined the University of Lincoln "Board of Governors on 1 February 2011, having served since 2009 as the non-Governor co-opted member of the University’s Audit Committee, which he now Chairs.

"A professional accountant, Bob’s career has been in local authority finance and housing services, and he is former Director of Finance and Deputy Chief Executive of East Lindsey District Council. Since retiring, Bob has undertaken consultancy work for a range of clients, most recently as Project Manager to Bedford Borough Council on the implementation of new financial systems.

"Bob has been a Board member of Lincolnshire Rural Housing Association since 2004 and has served as vice-chair since 2005."
