Sarah Ozacky-Lazar "is the former co-director of the Jewish-Arab Center for Peace at Givat Haviva, Israel. The organization works for dialogue, peace, tolerance and understanding between Arabs and Jews. Ozacky-Lazar's efforts in the Middle East brought her and her organization the 2001 UNESCO Award for Peace Education. Ozacky-Lazar has taught, lectured and researched at the Center, and has authored numerous papers, articles, and books on Middle Eastern Affairs, focusing on Peace Research and on the Arab Minority in Israel."
