Block note

I have decided to upgrade the block on SilverKid to infinite.

On reviewing the pages created by the user they were:

  • using SW to create an larger than life profile of a company which doesn't even have a website or its own domain name (the email contact on its Twitter feed is a Yahoo account); if a company doesn't have the basics of most serious companies then I can't see that, in the absence of a compelling reason, it deserves space in Sourcewatch;
  • despite repeated attempts by Anne Landman to ensure material which was added met our referencing and other standards, the contributions of Silver Kid continued to drain scarce staff time and energy away from pages that are more central to CMD's mission and more useful to readers.

As a result, I will delete the pages on Silver Wind Corporation and the related pages.--Bob Burton 20:34, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

The following information was referenced to a MySpace page (not an authoritative source): SilverWind Power Corporation was founded on March 31, 2009, as a wind farm developer. The company currently is building a 6,000 Wind Turbine Farm in Arizona. The project is estimated to cost ($20.0 billion). The taxes from this project will be estimated to contribute upwards of ($600.0 million) per year, for the Grand Canyon State of Arizona.
