Biographical Information

"Toby Hall became Chief Executive of Mission Australia in May 2006. Mission Australia is a non-denominational, Christian organisation transforming the lives of disadvantaged people through early childhood, youth programs, homeless support, housing services, vocational training and employment services – it is also Australia’s largest community welfare not for profit.

"As CEO Toby has grown Mission Australia’s capacity to help disadvantaged Australians and grown its revenue streams by 45 per cent. In particular, he has raised the organisations profile among government and industry peak bodies as lead experts in the welfare and community sectors.

"Toby is a director of GoodStart – a provider of early learning services to over 60,000 children.

"He is a qualified accountant, holds an MBA and has worked within the public and private sectors during his career. Prior to joining Mission Australia, Toby was Chief Operating Officer of World Vision Australia overseeing all the marketing, fundraising, communications, and business operations. He is passionate about helping people "be the best they can be.""[1]
