The American College of Pediatricians (ACPeds) is a conservative group. In 2023, they had about 700 members, roughly 60% of whom are physicians.[1] They were founded in 2002 by a group of physicians who were upset that the American Academy of Pediatrics supported same-sex parenting. The group identifies as Judeo-Christian and takes anti-LGBTQ+, anti-abortion, and pro-spanking stances. In 2012, ACPeds was identified as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.[2]
