Biographical Information

"Since his first stint as an AUK helpline volunteer where he helped to set-up Destigmatize, our BME service, to now fighting for service user rights on Anxiety UK’s and other third sector boards, Amo Kalar has shown huge commitment anxiety and wider mental health issues. He is published widely, both in academic research and the media, on ethnicity and mental health/anxiety. Amo is a Chair of Anxiety UK’s board, as well as a board member of Advance UK and the Mental Health Helplines Partnership (MHHP). He works for the Home Office."[1]
