Anca Sandescu

Anca Sãndescu "joined the Peace Action, Training and Research Institute of Romania (PATRIR) in 2002. She has a bachelor degree in International Relations from Babes Bolyai University, Cluj Napoca, Romania since 2003 and also holds and MA in Human Rights from Central European University, Budapest, Hungary. At PATRIR, she is in charge of organizing and supervising the projects developed under the Center for Gender Equality and Conscientization (C-GEN) and the Centre for Peace building, Conflict Transformation and Post War Rehabilitation, Rebuilding and Reconciliation (C-PCTR). In addition, she is a human rights trainer with focus on peace, gender and peaceful transformation of conflicts. She is the author of numerous papers and presentations on human rights with specific research focus on the Middle East conflict. She is a member of the External Board of the Human Rights Student Initiative (HRSI) a human rights organization comprised of students and alumni of Central European University." [1]
