Ann Friedman (27) "is a born-and-bred Midwesterner who now lives in Washington, D.C. She is the deputy editor of The American Prospect, where she occasionally blogs for TAPPED. She was previously the Prospect's web editor, and has also worked at Mother Jones, AlterNet.org, Legal Momentum, and several local newspapers in Missouri and Iowa.
