Biographical Information

"The Indo British Trade Council (IBTC) business and trade missions are project managed by the CEO Baljit Singh who has twenty years’ experience of formulating and implementing business development programmes within public sector institutions. An elected member at the Leicester City Council, Chairman of Board of Directors at Highfields Centre, Vice Chairman of the Race Equality Centre (EHRC) and Vice Chairman of Alpha Centre Management Committee. A versatile , high profile, confident and articulate manager with a successful track record in public sector management, policy research and strategic planning of service provision. Baljit Singh has also managed Punjab Link Council, a social enterprise which was instrumental in a number ofbusiness interactions with Punjab, including linking Ludhiana with Leicester, UK and consolidating business links with UK and North India through trade missions. The focus remains to engage Asian enterprise and the wider business community of the Midlands, United Kingdom with including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Punjab and Haryana, India though promoting business-to-business contacts, partnerships and collaborations for business pre-eminence."[1]
