Biographical Information

"Catherine Cameron is a Director of Agulhas: Applied Knowledge, a consultancy company specializing in sustainable development. Catherine was previously a member of the core team producing the Stern Review of the Economics of Climate Change. Catherine has led teams delivering change across the board in policy, programmes and fundraising in response to climate change. She is Chair of Twin, a charity, and Twin Trading, its sister company, whose mission statement is ‘to increase fair and sustainable access to international markets for smallholder producers ."[1]

She is a member of the Advisory Board of Sustainable Aviation, a consortium of over 40 UK companies working towards a more sustainable sector by 2050, including alternative fuels and a CO2 roadmap. (Members include BA, BAE Systems, Boeing, GE Aviation, Rolls Royce and Virgin Atlantic). In addition, she is Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Acid Survivors Trust International. Until September 2010, she was Chair of Twin Trading and Twin, a limited company and not for profit working with over 50 co-operatives with over 400 000 members in 18 countries selling fair trade coffee, tea, and nuts to every major UK supermarket.
