The China Research Center "was founded in 2001 to promote collaboration toward understanding greater China based on in-depth research and experience. The Center draws much if its expertise from the universities around the region, working collaboratively across institutions and jointly with the public and private sectors. The universities currently represented are Agnes Scott, Dalton State, Emory, Georgia Perimeter, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State, Mercer, Oglethorpe, and the University of Georgia." [1]
