Denisa Brand-Jacobsen "is one of the founders of the Peace Action, Training and Research Institute of Romania (PATRIR), currently coordinating programs within the Peace Education Center and responsible for the cooperation with The Nonviolent Peaceforce International and European Network for Civil Peace Services. She was the recipient of training programs in peacebuilding, development, and constructive conflict transformation and will be trained by the OSCE in the project ”Rapid Expert Assistance and Co-operation for Conflict Prevention Operations, Crisis Management and Post-Conflict Rehabilitation” in November 2005. She has a MA in Linguistics from the University of Oslo, Norway and a BA degree in English and Norwegian for the Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania." [1]
