Diana Campoamor

Diana Campoamor "is the President of Hispanics in Philanthropy. Prior to joining HIP, Ms. Campoamor served as a director at the Shalan Foundation, the Mexican American Legal Defense Fund (MALDEF), the United Way and the YWCA. She holds an MA in Communications from the University of Miami and a BA from the University of Florida. She has served on the boards of the Council on Foundations, Independent Sector, the Inter-University Project for Latino Research, California HACR, Horizons Foundation, BRAVA! For Women in the Arts and several other nonprofits.

"Born in Cuba, Ms. Campoamor, a naturalized US citizen, is bilingual. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, within walking distance of her 28 year old son and her brother and sister-in-law. Hobbies include architecture and design, painting, writing and films." [1]
